Q.How far are you from Acadia National Park?

A. Acadia National Park makes up approximately 1/3 of Mount Desert Island and is           scattered throughout the island.  From the cabins, Acadia  National Park is anywhere from 1 – 10 miles away.

Q.How far are you away from a major town?

A.Hall Quarry in located in the center of Mount Desert Island, just minutes from any local                                                           Town.  Bar Harbor is about 15 minutes from the cabins, Southwest less than 10 minutes, and Northeast Harbor approximately 10 minutes.

Q.  What is the temperature like?

A.  Like any place, the temperature can vary.  August days can make its way into the 90’s (rarely), generally the temperature during peek season is in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.  Evenings tend to cool down, so bring a warm sweatshirt or jacket on chilly nights

Q.  What happens if we pay for all or part of the rent for the cabin and then we have to     cancel our trip?

A.  The rental agreements for these cottages do not provide for cancellation (unless the cottage can be re-booked for your time period). It is highly recommended that you consider purchasing trip/travel insurance should a personal emergency prevent you from taking your vacation. Q.  What time is check in and check out?

A.Check In is at 3:00 pm and Check Out is at 10:00 am

Q.  Is there smoking allowing in the cabins?

A.No Smoking is allowing inside the cabins.
