The Command Post
The Command Post is a cozy and quaint one bedroom home that is located in the small village of Hall Quarry. Centrally located in the middle of Mount Desert Island, Hall Quarry was once known for its historic and once vibrant rock quarries that were filled with beautiful mounds of pink granite. Nestled on a hill within Acadia’s mountain ranges on all sides, the Command Post is located overlooking breathtaking Somes Sound, the largest natural fjord on the East Coast of the United States. Enjoy the gentle ocean breezes and quiet wooded surroundings that you will call home for the length of your stay.
