For previous visitors to our website and first time visitors alike, Seaweed Cottage was rebuilt from the ground up in 2015. Seaweed is located on Somes Sound, the only natural fjord on the east coast of the United States. Enjoy a sunrise greeting you as it rises over Parkman and Sargent Mountain. Sit on the deck and watch the boating activity, observe the sea life, and relax with the cool ocean breezes. This cottage is located in a secluded cove that affords you a nice and quiet atmosphere after a day in Acadia National Park.
Seaweed Cottage is equipped with three bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, and laundry. Amenities also include all modern appliances, television, spacious decks, dock, outdoor fire pit, and all the relaxation and panoramic views one can stand!
